The unique Sick BBQ / Ice Cream truck has had two teams of people navigate the Sick Week and Sick Summer events this year, and we're offering the chance to jump onboard again!

With the upcoming Edelbrock Sick 66 event just a couple weeks away, the passenger seat of the Sick BBQ / Ice Cream truck is open for someone to join us for Sick 66!

The drag-and-drive community got a boost of youthful participation, as six competitors in the recent Sick Summer event are under eighteen years-old! And in a climate where it’s easy to get into thousands of other things besides cars or a drag-and-drive, we felt it necessary to highlight some of them here!

When Tom Bailey made the decision to allow a random team the chance to command the Sick BBQ - Ice Cream truck at Sick Week, it proved to be a popular decision. The offer was also advertised for Sick Summer, and we received over 50 submissions to wheel the truck for the six days of Sick Summer fun. From those submissions, the field was narrowed, and the job will go to Leticia and Abbey Hughes from Kentucky.

A common sight at last year’s Sick Week and Sick Summer events was the Sick BBQ - Ice Cream truck. It was piloted by the well-known duo of Rick and Jacki Steinke at Sick Week, and now we’re looking for a driver for Sick Summer!!
