Chuck Stefanski Gearing Up for Sick At The Rock, with His Sights on Being The Quickest Supercharged Ride in the new Sick Street Car Challenge Class

After competing in his wife’s Trans Am in 2023, Chuck Stefanski decided to up the ante and re-vamp his 1981 Pontiac Lemans station wagon for a full season in 2024.

Chuck Stefanski achieved some solid results, completing two drag and drive events, and scoring wins at two events. Now he’s got new goals for 2025, including the new Sick Street Car Challenge class at the Sick At The Rock event next month.

“I think this is an awesome way to showcase drag and drive, and giving the competitors several chances to win some real cash,” said Chuck. “This structure allows the spectators to stay at one track and see every pass. This event is going to set the pace for the future of drag and drive, and I am along for the ride!”

Higher Ground – Big 3 Racing Rebuilds from a 2024 Shop Fire with a New Shop Location at Dragway 42, Grand Opening in May, 2025

The drag-and-drive community can go beyond the racing scene, into developing friendships, supporting businesses, and getting the car community back to the idea of enjoying cars and truck and the memories they can make.

For Chuck Stefanski, Rick Trunkett, and Bob Hess Jr., they combined their enthusiasm and knowledge into Big 3 Racing, a shop in Ohio. Unfortunately, the shop suffered a devastating shop fire in July of 2024, but today Big 3 Racing announced they have brighter futures ahead, with a new building starting to take shape!

“We have not one, but two buildings being built trackside: One for mechanical work, fabrication and parts sales and the other to house our dynos.”

The Second Sick the Mag Drag-And-Drive Shootout of 2024 Fires Up this Weekend at the NMCA All-American Nationals at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio

The 2024 drag-and-drive season has moved past the halfway point, and also been featured in a few racing series as well. One of those is the National Muscle Car Association, and the second Sick the Mag Drag-and-Drive Shootout for 2024 will take place at this week’s Mickey Thompson NMCA All-American Nationals at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio.
